Since 2011, the young winemaker Patrick Möllendorf is responsible for the winery and the wines. In 2019, he received support from Claudia Vadda, who also trained as a winemaker and has acquired a lot of practical knowledge in recent years. Together they maintain a gentle and sustainable system; which means maximum effort in the vineyard and minimal stress for the wine in the cellar. Many years of experience working with old oak barrels in the ageing process of wines and experimenting with acacia wood barrels help convey the special characteristics of these ageing styles into the glass. Since 2014, the estate's own vineyards have been farmed without artificial fertilizers, without herbicides or pesticides, and exclusively by hand. For our single-vineyard wines, we use only healthy grape material, harvest and select by hand, and attach great importance to gentle processing.
