Pinot Noir Lovers: Are You Ready for IPNC?

International Pinot Noir Celebration (IPNC). McMiinville, Oregon.

The International Pinot Noir Celebration in McMinnville, Oregon (USA), is…as wine expert Jancis Robinson says…”One of the most enjoyable wine weekends in the world.” Set amid the backdrop of Oregon’s beautiful wine country, the three-day event will run July 25-27.

Two wines from the Loosen Bros. USA portfolio will be featured at IPNC this year: 2011 Villa Wolf Pinot Noir (Pfalz region, Germany) and 2011 J. Christopher Sandra Adele Pinot Noir.

Erni Loosen and Ian Dick will be on hand to represent Villa Wolf. Jay Somers and Ronda Newell will be there to represent J. Christopher. Kirk Wille and Cliff Robben from Loosen Bros. USA also will be on hand.

If you’re attending IPNC this year, you’ll have several chances to say hi to the Dr. Loosen/J. Christopher gang:

  • The Alfresco Tasting on Friday
  • Saturday vineyard tour lunch. (If you’re on their lunch tour, you’ll taste their wines in a blind tasting.)
  • Sunday’s Passport tasting from 2-4 pm. Look for the Villa Wolf and J. Christopher tables!

And, while you’re enjoying the outdoor activities, beat the heat with a visit to the ice-filled kiddie pools scattered around, where you’ll find cool, palate-refreshing bottles of Erni’s always popular Dr. L Riesling!

Looking forward to seeing our fellow Pinot Noir lovers. Cheers!
